New Discovery of Old 'Lost' Christmas Card Design!
Guys, we're all over at the Funky Punk Comics blog... Join us...
Around this time last year on 'Funky Punk Comics' I posted a few surviving Christmas card designs that my Dad did to give to friends, family and clients from the early to late 1970s. While he got the later ones professionally printed, the earlier ones he printed himself by creating the image as a lino cut, covered the lino in ink and printed it by passing the card and inked lino through an old mangle to mimic a printing press, kind of like a homemade etching. While tidying up a few months back I came across several prints of another design amongst some of his work. I don't remember this one but it's quite striking in it's graphic grainy simplicity. These are probably experiments in colour to see which version worked best. Personally the middle one works best for me. What do you think? I have no idea when he did this one, but I expect it's the early 70s. Love it...

Mighty Mondo Media!
Britain's Best Comic- MONDO, which ran from the early 90s to 2004, now has it's own Twitter account. We'd love to see you over there as the party on the page moves into the next decade. We'll be posting covers, strips, the odd comment on the comic 'industry' and having lots of beer filled fun... Memes are on standby...
Mondo has always been much more fun than it's peers and after the 2020 shit-show we all need a good time. We've got action, adventure, superheroes and sci-fi all told from a punky UK perspective.
It's a big EFF YOU finger to everyone who wants to control your every waking moment, to everyone who wants to force you to agree 150% to their very small narrow opinion, to everyone who wants to censor and cancel you, to everyone who wants you to live by their puritanical high sparrow racist, sexist segregated dogma.

Mr Baker was a journalist and radio DJ who was fired from the BBC for stupid Tweeting in 2019. The mask will be great for COVID social distancing as it will scare everyone else away! Here it is-
